Cast bronze handles provide a distinctive accent. Created in collaboration with a local artist, their design references the principle of Murphy Law and serves as a subtle reminder that design can thoughtfully engage with the unpredictabilities of daily life. The natural patination of the untreated bronze enhances the evolving character of this piece.

 

A technical highlight is the seamlessly integrated desk lamp, which extends at the push of a button. In its resting position, it sits flush with the surface of the desk and becomes visible only when needed.

 

Crafted from dense regional hornbeam and joined using traditional wood joinery, the desk offers lasting stability and timeless presence.
