NOCE

This lowboard combines walnut veneered wood panels with orange pigmented MDF to create a striking color composition. Inspired by a color reference book, the deliberate contrast both defines and visually unifies the piece.

Designed as a media cabinet, it integrates thoughtful cable management and efficiently organized storage for audiovisual equipment and accessories. The subtle 17 degree bevel on the front edges creates a refined shadow line, adding depth and a sense of lightness to the volume.

The continuous orange center element connects exterior and interior in a cohesive architectural gesture. Minimalist recessed pulls are highlighted by the signal color, drawing attention to the finer details. The veneer pattern is mirrored to form a calm yet dynamic symmetry.

The oiled surface is finely polished to a smooth finish with a velvety tactile quality. Longevity here is not defined as indestructibility, but as the capacity for preservation and continued use. A piece of furniture with substance, crafted for lasting quality in bespoke interior architecture.
